For the first time, I'll be heading to the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year- I can't wait!
Every year I gaze longingly at the ticket sales online, just wishing that I could click purchase, but up until this year there's been various barriers to stop me from doing so.
Price is the main one. Which is why this year I was very lucky to win tickets in a competition! It's very expensive to go, especially on the Saturday or Sunday- this year I'll be going on the Thursday.
From what I hear and have seen online, it never fails to be an incredibly exciting event full of surprises, with the world's largest and most popular car brands sending their latest and greatest machines to run the prestigious hill climb within the picturesque Goodwood grounds. This year, we're expecting to see some truly fantastic feats of engineering in the likes of the Pagani Huayra BC, McLaren P1 GTR and Aston Martin Valkyrie.
There'll also be some debut appearances at the festival, including the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS and McLaren's topless take on the already stunning 570S. It promises to be a great event!
I'll be armed with my camera, as always- rest assured I'll be taking multiple SD cards in anticipation of taking way too many photos!
