The subject of my first ever photo shoot was this fantastic BMW M3 Saloon, parked up in a quiet industrial estate on a freezing Saturday afternoon in November. Despite my verging-on-hypothermia hands, I was able to capture what I thought were some quite effective shots. Especially since I didn't really have any prior experience of shooting cars in this way. The location that we chose worked well because, aside from the yellow road markings and the blue logo on the container, all the colours were very faded and washed out- which helped to make the M3 stand out against the background.
