Editing Car Photos
Editing photos is a crucial part post-processing. All photographers enjoy getting great results straight out the camera- it's so rewarding! But for me, that's not where the process ends. Personally, I like to edit my photos to further the effect that I'm trying to achieve. Sometimes I'll make subtle changes, sometimes more drastic- and sometimes they don't turn out how I intended! Read on to discover how I edit my photos and tips that you can use to enhance your own car snaps.

I'll be honest with you from the off- I'm not going to tell you EVERYTHING that I know and have learnt over the years about editing photos. The truth is, there'd be no benefit in that! Editing photos is a learning curve. It takes time and effort to learn the software that you're using, and only after lots of trial and error will you start to develop your own editing styles and shortcuts to give your photos a unique touch that represents your style.
Below is a small selection of some of my favourite edits that I have worked on in the past. Use the sliders, like the one above, to see what the photo looked like before compared to after. I'll explain what I've done to each photo and why, but see if you can spot any other changes that I've made!
